How Can I Help?
-
Does it ever feel hard to keep up with the ebbs and flows of your mood?
On your best days, you feel grounded and confident—present in your relationships and comfortable in your own skin. On more difficult days, it can feel like you’re wearing a mask: appearing steady and self-assured while quietly navigating self-doubt or working hard to keep old habits at bay.
Letting go of the strategies that once protected you isn’t easy. Often, the very patterns that now feel frustrating were born in response to painful experiences, difficult upbringings, or a world that wasn’t built with you in mind. Whether it’s numbing, controlling, people-pleasing, or combativeness, what once served as a brilliant solution can eventually start to feel like the problem.
Therapy offers space to understand these patterns, and to shift them, with care and intention.
In our work together, I support clients in developing more secure and honest relationships, both with themselves and with others. Through a blend of talk therapy and EMDR, I work with people navigating relationship conflict, sexuality and self-esteem concerns, and the lasting impact of trauma. I approach this work with compassionate curiosity and collaboration, helping you make sense of your experiences and move toward change in ways that feel grounded and sustainable.

Do you feel like you’re having the same conversations with your partner, over and over again? You think you’ve resolved things—or perhaps you’ve silently agreed to “just forget it”—and then suddenly, you’re right back where you started.
Maybe it’s a matter of mismatched desire or an old wound that never quite healed. Perhaps you’re caught in the painful dance of trying to stay present during conflict—struggling to feel heard, combating the urge to defend yourself, or shutting down altogether.
It doesn’t have to be this way. The truth is, most of us were never taught how to navigate conflict or sustain long-term intimacy. Asking for help isn’t a failure—it’s often a necessary step in building the relationship you want with the person you love.
Using tools from the Gottman Method and Relational Life Therapy, I work with couples to strengthen communication and repair. Together, we look at defenses not as character flaws, but as survival strategies shaped by the past, and work to bring you and your partner back together in the present.
I welcome all relationship styles and have experience working with folks in kink and poly communities.
Fee: $180 per 50-minute session
